The Medical Clinic Millicent offers patients the opportunity for Telehealth Consultations with their specialists.  This state of the art facility features a new Conference Room ideal for the provision of Telehealth Consultations.

This service offers  high-definition videoconferencing, Telehealth can enable more
convenient access to a wider range of health services, in turn helping to provide more timely diagnosis and treatment for country patients.

Telehealth is of particular benefit in our rural setting, as it means that people do not have to travel to access health and support services.

For those in regional Australia, telehealth can improve access to services while reducing travel costs and time away from work and family.

For example, Telehealth can enable a patient in a local regional clinic to consult specialists based in metropolitan hospitals, with out the out of pocket costs associated with large distances to travel.

We use a program called Cisco Jabber this program is being rolled out throughout SA and is used in the hospital system for SA Health.
