Our Nurses

We have a very dedicated group of experienced nurses at the practice.  Our nurses take care of a range of procedures including vaccinations, dressings, chronic disease management, aged care assessments and triaging.

Our Staff

At The Medical Clinic Millicent we take pride in our experienced  group of Administration staff in all areas of the business ranging from Reception, Personal Assistants and Finance Assistants.   All staff are more than happy to direct you and make the necessary appointments for you.

MEDICAL STUDENTS

We pride ourselves in the fact that The Medical Clinic Millicent is a teaching practice.  At present we host Year 4 Medical students from the Flinders University in Adelaide.  These students stay with us for 6 weeks at a time and gain many skills from participating in this rural setting.

All students undertaking professional training at the clinic participate in structured cultural competence training, particularly as it applies to the primary health care setting. A goal for the clinic is that all students have the opportunity to participate in the delivery of services to all clients and, as appropriate, all culturally and linguistically diverse populations. This may include experiences such as health care delivery with the aid of translation services, provision of linguistically appropriate education materials for patients, and awareness of the particular health risks and health care needs of relevant cultural populations and rural area.
